App Development & Virtual Tours

Unity game engine interface showing VR application development for Meta Quest headset
Building immersive VR applications in Unity

Once the immersive content is made, getting it in front of people is its own challenge. Forrest builds video player apps for the Quest 3 for tradeshow setups, as well as larger branching narrative projects where users explore on their own through a self-guided story.

Creating interactive virtual tour experiences

Using Unity, Forrest builds VR applications that run natively on the Meta Quest 3. These range from simple video players for 360 and VR 180 content to interactive experiences with spatial UI, scene transitions, and user-driven navigation.

Web-based virtual tours with 3D Vista

For web-based virtual tours, Forrest uses 3D Vista to build interactive experiences accessible from any browser. These tours include hotspot navigation, embedded video and audio, floor plans, and custom branding. Used for real estate, hospitality, museums, and corporate presentations. They can also incorporate aerial drone footage.
